Getting started seems to be a little harder then one might think. I started with a basic idea and it has branched off several different ways. I think the first important thing is this site.
Coming up with a basic idea of where you wanna go. I have checked out a lot of blogs in the past few days. There are some great designs out there. I started with Wix. They have a few good choice templates. I selected one that I think fits my style. I do wonder if I can be changed at a later point. I am sure it can.
Next is that to write about. I think the first few posts will just be the journey that I am on. Figuring out where to go and what to do. Where will I get the audience to follow me and what I do? Will I have to jump on to youtube with videos or a podcast?
Thinking about where I am going and what I want to research and talk about is the next step. Who do I promote? How do I promote them? Do I go and stay local or branch out? IF I branch out to try and land some big names, how do I get them to notice me? I have read sites that say promote what you love. Oh man, in that case, I am going to be promoting coffee, scotch, cars, and gaming. I am looking at product review sites and affiliate network sites. I want to see how they can help me build a basic foundation.
